Hatha Yoga Class
I am delighted to announce that I will teach Hatha Yoga at Evolve Yoga & Wellness starting May, 16th 2024.
Hatha yoga class focuses on asana (posture) and pranayama (breath awareness) to balance body and mind. In this class, we hold each pose longer than a vinyasa or flow class. We hold the postures for several breaths for up to 1 minute. There are no transitional sequences as each pose is practiced one time only during the class. It is an all-level class that incorporates foundational as well as challenging postures to develop flexibility, strength, and mindfulness. This class is suitable for any level as your teacher will offer variation and modification to allow your practice to evolve with you.
