Yin Yoga: A Path to Inner Connection
When I first began practicing yoga 27 years ago, Hatha Yoga was a balanced blend of introspective poses and strengthening postures. Over the years, I have observed a shift in the yoga world—a tendency toward more physically demanding and dynamic practices that emphasize strength, endurance, and movement. While these practices have their merits, they focus on the masculine energy and often bypass the feminine energy that our being needs to remain balanced and move toward self-realization. This evolution in yoga trends highlights the importance of restoring equilibrium through practices like Yin Yoga, which nurtures introspection, stillness, and deep connection with oneself.

Where is My Mind?
So here I am, preparing my props, mainly various balls. As I sat in the room, ready for class to begin, I reflected on the beauty of yoga practice: approaching with an open heart and a willingness to explore oneself, never knowing what each class would bring. Today’s session reminded me how quickly the mind can wander when the present moment is uncomfortable. I’m still amused by the inner dialogue I had during class.

What is Hatha-Yoga?
Yoga is a holistic way of living, including dietary habits, disciplined practice, and introspection. It is a path guiding us towards enlightenment. Along this journey, we experience improvements in our physical well-being, emotional contentment, and overall sense of fulfillment.

Say “YES” To Life
Life is a perpetual stream of energy, constantly in motion, shaping our experiences and journeys. Whether joyful or challenging, every event we encounter is made of energy. It's not about confinement but rather about allowing it to move freely. As we say yes to what unfolds before us, we ride the current of life. And when faced with difficulties, we can allow the pain to pass through us rather than resisting its flow.

Rekindling The Spark to Live Beyond Autopilot
Are we living on autopilot, or are we fully present and mindful?
Purpose and inspiration pass by when we only go through the motions. Living on autopilot makes us oblivious to the present moment, lost in our thoughts—worried about the future, burdened by the past— and missing the beauty of now.
